Battle of the Wits - Improv Comedy Show
Join us in an evening of laughs as two teams battle out improvised games. Everything is made up on the spot! Each night is a different night with new games and different players. Each night has a panel of guest judges - all who are staff at LHS. Come to both shows to see these guest judges and to see if your favored team wins!
Performance dates are Friday, Jan 17 AND Saturday, Jan 18 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Tickets are on sale at On The Stage and are also available at the door one hour before each show.
STUDENTS INTERESTED IN AUDITIONING:
Starting at 3:15pm in the Ensemble Room (166) until finished for the day. Please fill out an audition form prior to your audition date. More information is posted in Canvas and in ParentSquare.
ONE night only to audition. Why? So we can see everyone interact with each other. No experience is necessary! However, there are certain games we audition with so it might be a good idea to know what those are ahead of time. We look for certain personality criteria because improv is a team sport. Those wishing to be part of our Tech or Crew Team, please fill out a crew application. This can be found in Canvas and in ParentSquare.
Since there isn't much to be done in crew for the Improv Battle, we will start working ahead on musical. For other inquiries, please contact Mrs Danke, Mr Krommenakker and/or the LHS stage managers (Eden Francis and Atlas Hoks). All information is found in our Canvas class "LHS Theatre Dept." The week of Jan 13th will be our tech week.
Since this is a co-curricular competitive activity, we follow and strictly enforce the sports code of conduct. Any use of substance(s), poor academics or poor behavior will lead to termination of your role from our team.
