ACP Events 2024-25 School Year
Wisconsin Education Fair (WEF) - Tuesday, September 24, 2024
This will be a field trip offered to Juniors and Seniors. More details will be shared at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year.
Career Discovery Day - Tuesday, October 22, 2024
Each grade level will participate in a career-exploratory themed activity. Below are listings of activities from the 2022 event. Details for the 2024 event will be shared soon!
Freshmen - All freshmen will hear from special guest speakers who will be discussing topics around post-high school options.
Sophomores - All sophomores will load buses and attend Mid-State Technical College's Program Showcase. This interactive showcase will highlight career clusters and programs to give students a taste of what post-secondary education is like.
Juniors - Juniors will participate in Community Career Discussions. Community members representing the 16 career clusters will share information about their career with our students. Students will choose their top two Career Clusters they're most interested in learning more about.
Seniors - Seniors will hear from college reps as well as receive important senior information from Dr. Watson and Jostens.
Reality Check for Seniors - March 11, 2025
All seniors will participate in a Financial Literacy Simulation called "Reality Check" during the morning. This interactive simulation is a partnership between LHS and our local business and non-profit community members.
College and Technical College Visits
A trip to a college/university and a technical college will be organized in the Fall and Spring. Please listen to announcements or check the ACP Center's social media pages for more information.
