Hello!
I am very grateful to be part of the outstanding staff of Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools, and always enjoy the excitement each new school year brings. I have been involved in public education for the past 18 years and have held many positions during that time. Included in that time is 8 years that I have served as Superintendent; first in Prairie Farm (a small rural district of 385 in Barron County) for 3 years, then in the Barron Area School District (a rural district of 1,400 also in Barron County) for 4 years, and now I'm proud to be serving in the Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools.
In addition to my professional life, I am also a husband and father of 3. These professional and personal experiences have shaped who I am today as well as my expectations of what our public schools do for our kids. I feel that school districts are here to serve our students, parents, and community and provide a well-rounded educational experience allowing our graduates to make virtually any choice upon graduation.
Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools has a solid foundation of strong academic and co-curricular programs, and I am looking forward to continuing those opportunities while finding ways to enhance them and push for innovation district-wide.
Feel free to contact me any time.
Sincerely,
Craig G. Broeren
Superintendent
