Special Olympics
Special Olympics Wisconsin is a competitive sports organization for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and athletes learn rules and train hard to compete to the best of their ability. At SOWI, we are working towards creating a world of inclusion and community through sports. At Track and Field meets, we need volunteers to help with Softball Throw, Mini Javelin, Shot Put, Long Jump, Staging Track Athletes, Escorting Track Athletes, and Awards. At Cornhole, we need volunteers to help score games and present awards to athletes. Don’t worry if you aren’t an expert in any of these events, we will provide an orientation beforehand so you feel comfortable in your role!

Looking for anyone willing to preform for the residents such as an instrument, singing etc. If any students have a dog willing to bring in to visit that would work out as well along with any special talents they might have.
