Title I: A Commitment to Making Washington Great for Years to Come Washington Elementary operates a school wide Title I program. Highly qualified school personnel, parents, and students work together to allow our students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Students are provided reading and math support, parent involvement activities are encouraged, and all stakeholders sign a compact to commit them to being a part of each child’s success at Washington. Each School year parents will be given opportunities to review student progress via progress reports, parent teacher conferences, portfolio night, and various teacher communications home. Parent will have the opportunity to reflect on our services each year and provide feedback, as part of the learning process here at Washington. Each year we will use this information to review our plan at an annual parent meeting each spring. Click here for quarterly family events that will focus on reading, math, technology, and family fun. These evenings will be opportunities for parent to show their children the importance of school and support them in their studies. Activities and family fun will be had by all. Together we all make a difference in our child’s education!
