Dr. Colleen Dickmann

WELCOME to the Wisconsin Rapids Area School District webpage! Our district spans approximately 250 square miles and serves students from the City of Wisconsin Rapids; the Villages of Biron, Rudolph and Vesper; Wood County Townships of Arpin, Grand Rapids, Hansen, Rudolph, Saratoga, Seneca, Sigel, Sherry; and Portage County Townships of Carson, Grant and Plover.

Our district consists of one high school, one alternative high school, one junior high school, one middle school, eight elementary schools, and a strong community based 4K program. Our elementary schools offer a variety of opportunities in service learning, brain based learning, project based learning as well as virtual programming.  Secondary level programming includes challenging core classes as well as a variety of areas for students to explore in computer science, world languages, technical education, health related occupations, and so much more!

Our facilities are well maintained and our programs are delivered by excellent educators. We offer a comprehensive education and nice variety of co-curricular opportunities to ensure that our students receive a strong, well-rounded foundation for future success. Our ultimate goal is to prepare our students to become lifelong learners, leaders, and responsible contributors to society as we move into the future.

Wisconsin Rapids is a wonderful place to raise a family. I have lived in this community and have had the privilege of working in this school district for over 25 years. I encourage you to spend some time navigating our website. I believe you will like what we have to offer!
