Employee Classification

A. Full-Time: Employees in this category shall include those employees who are assigned to a position on a full-time basis (seven or more hours per day) for the full calendar year.
B. Part-Time: Employees in this category shall include those employees who are assigned to a position for less than a full schedule of hours (less than seven hours per day) for the full calendar year.
C. Temporary: A temporary employee is defined as an employee who is hired for a specific period of time and/or for a special project or purpose.
D. Substitute: A substitute is an employee who fills in for a regular employee who is on a leave of absence.
