Emergency School Closures

In the event the District or an individual building(s) is closed, full or partial day closures may be made up at the discretion of the District. The District shall, at a minimum make up all days/hours necessary to guarantee the receipt of state aids and/or necessary to meet the minimum annual school year requirements (days and hours) of the State of Wisconsin. Teachers shall not receive additional compensation in the event the District requires such day(s)/time to be made up with or without students.
Time required to be made up can be accounted for either before or after regularly scheduled work hours or on non-work days. A record of time worked shall be provided to the teacher’s immediate supervisor for approval and record keeping purposes.
In the event of inclement weather, teachers are expected to make up the time missed. Documentation of time made up is to be turned in to the building administrator.
