General Information

Who do I call?

• Issues with technology are bound to happen.  Below you will find a document that outlines who you should contact when experiencing a variety of technology issues.

WRPS Helpdesk

• In order for our IT Support Specialists to take care of other issues that may arise, we have created a Help Desk ticket system that is attached below.

Hardware / Software Requests

• There may be times when you need access to additional hardware or software resources.  While we can not facilitate every request, we will do our best to meet your needs.  Attached below are our hardware and software request forms.

How do I Log in?

• You will need to log in on a WRPS district device to set up your account profile
  • Username: Last name, first and middle initial (ex. BouchardMA)
  • Password: WisRapids2023
• After entering this information you will be prompted to change your password.  This will be your username and password for your email account as well as other software in the district.
• You will be able to access many software programs by using "log in with Google" once you are logged in to a district device.

Email / Calendar

Google Login for Staff

• Access your staff email by visiting http://www.wrps.org
• Next click "Google Login"
• Then choose Google login for Staff
• You will use your district login credentials to access your email
• We have MFA enabled MFA Directions

Google Suite Overview

• Here at WRPS we rely on the Google Suite of applications for much of what we do.  Below you will find resources that introduce concepts that most staff members utilize on a daily basis

Staff Access

• Access many important district links 
• First, you must be logged into your district email account
• After logging in, select Staff Access on the http://www.wrps.org page
• You will see an option to "Sign in with Google" 
• Next choose your staff email account

Skyward

There are two Skyward applications:

1. Skyward Finance and HR
   • This application is for staff to access employee information such as paychecks, W4 and make name and address changes. 
     • You can access this by going to http://www.wrps.org and choosing staff access

     • Please watch your district email for login information for the Skyward Employee Access portal where you will be able to view their payroll information as well as request changes to any demographic information. 

2. Skyward Student Database 
   • This application is primarily for professional staff to manage their students, classrooms and grade books. 
     • You can access this by going to http://www.wrps.org and choosing the skyward logo on the top of the page
     • This login will be the same used to access your email account. 
3. Skyward Qmlativ
   • This application is primarily for professional staff to manage their students, classrooms and grade books. 
     • You can access this by going to Skyward Q Test Database and choosing the skyward logo on the top of the page
     • This login will be the same used to access your email account.
