Welcome to 2025 Summer Academy
WRPS is excited to offer amazing summer opportunities for students to thrive and grow both socially and academically! We believe summer programming should be an integral part of the overall school program which offers a balance of options to support academic, enrichment, or remedial needs of students. Registration is open to all pupils; however, entrance requirements (such as grade level prerequisites) may be imposed for certain classes. Attendance in other courses such as in cases of remedial coursework, may be required for individual pupils.
Summer Academy 2025 Session Dates:
June 9 – July 3
All Summer Academy classes for grades 4K - 5 will be held at Woodside Elementary School in 2025.
NEW THIS YEAR: Extended day options and lunch for all 4K — 5th grade
Summer Academy students!
Students will kick off their morning with exciting grade-level sessions from 8:00 – 12:00, including a nutritious school breakfast and lunch. They can then keep the fun going with an enrichment session of their choice from 12:00 – 1:30.
**Busing after Summer Academy will only be available at 1:30 when the enrichment session ends. If your student chooses not to participate in the 12:00 - 1:30 enrichment session, you will need to provide transportation at 12:00 daily.

All Summer Academy students will complete the registration and course selection process online through Skyward Family Access regardless of the school or district they attend during the school year. If your student(s) does not currently attend a WRPS school, you are required to complete a brief google form found here to create or reactivate your Family Access account.
Online registration for elementary level Summer Academy courses will open in Skyward Family Access on Monday, March 3 at 7:00 a.m. and close at midnight on Monday, March 31.
Registration and Course Selection Instructions
Registration for all offerings may re-open after the closing dates depending on class availability.
