Voting for the Lincoln High School mascot will be held in the LHS Commons from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. on:
 
   Tuesday, May 13th
   Wednesday, May 14th
   Thursday, May 15th

LHS students may vote during lunch on these days.  Other WRPS students, as well as adults, are invited to cast their ballot during the above listed times. Click here to view mascot images.

 The 17th Annual Volunteer Recognition Breakfast honored the hard work of Hilary Bauer (LHS) with the Youth Individual Volunteer of the Year award and the East Ambassadors with the Youth Group Volunteers of the Year award. Read More

$100,000 Grant to Benefit Mead After-School Program

 

An after-school student enrichment program at Mead Elementary could be secure for another five years.


The Wisconsin Rapids School District received a $100,000 21st Century Community Learning Center grant from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to fund Club Mead, an afternoon activities program for students in the district. The grant can be renewed for up to five years. Read More

 

 

 


 Central Wisconsin Math League

 

WRPS students from Lincoln High School, East Junior High, and West Junior High comprise the LHS Math League Team, which competes in the Central Wisconsin Math League, sponsored by UW-Stevens Point.  LHS math teacher Cindy Holberg is the moderator of the “Mathletes.”  Twelve WRPS students attend each meet representing LHS: four each in the Algebra, Geometry, and Advanced divisions.  Students earned berths on the team through a qualifying test at the start of the year or a challenge exam during the year.
