Hello, I am Mrs. Shearier. I am a third grade teacher at Mead Elementary Charter School. I've been teaching here at Mead for three years. I live in Wisconsin Rapids with my husband, two dogs, and my humongous cat. When I'm not teaching and learning,I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends during my spare time. Service Learning Project

This year we will be implementing a Pennies For Peace service learning project. Third graders will be learning about their community and how it compares to Pakistan and Afghanistan communities. They will see how experiences and opportunities are different for children all around the world. Some children in other countries are less fortunate and can only wish to have the educational opportunities we are offered in our community. This is a way for students to get involved and to be apart of a project that will positively impact the lives of others.
