My students know me as Mrs. Sarah. I went to UWSP for both my undergrad and masters degrees and love teaching the innocent little folks of Early Childhood: Special Ed. I began my career in WRPS fresh out of college in 2001 and am happy to still be here doing this meaningful work.

I have four sons (Ben, Jayce, Tommy, and Preston) and a husband which all substitute for pets. My favorite pasttime is functional fitness (yay, D1 Training - Stevens Point!) and mountain biking as a coach or with my oldest son (yay, SPASH mountain bike club!). And I love creative indie music that doesn't sound anything like mainstream radio. I am very grateful for my family, my life, and my faith.

I teach Early Childhood: Special Education (EC:SE) at Woodside Elementary. I began as a new teacher in this district and in this position in 2001. I have had the privilege of having the same amazing aide, Linda Dougherty, for the entire time as well. We serve children ages 2.5 - 5 who qualify as having special needs.

The program is half days and runs Tuesday through Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are used for evaluations, meetings for IEPs, home visits, and servicing children who remain in their regular education settings.
