Advocates for WRPS Education Fund
Advocates for WRPS Education Fund is dedicated to enhancing students’ educational opportunities. Advised by a volunteer committee of local community members, and working in partnership with Incourage Community Foundation, the role of the Fund is to augment, supplement and complement programs and activities currently provided by Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools (WRPS) district. The Fund is administered by Incourage Community Foundation.
About Us
Advocates for WRPS Education Fund (formerly WRPS Endowment) was established in 2001 by a group of local residents seeking solutions to school budget constraints and limited tax dollars for education. Volunteers today continue the tradition of raising awareness and financial support from alumni, staff, local businesses and residents for this permanently endowed fund through Incourage Community Foundation.
The Fund is dedicated to enhancing students’ educational opportunities. Advised by a volunteer committee of local community members, and working in partnership with Incourage, the role of the Fund is to augment, supplement and complement programs and activities currently provided by the Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools (WRPS) district.
Quality education is one vital cornerstone of a strong community and economy. This Fund has made significant progress during its short existence due to the support of many volunteers, donors, educators, alumni and businesses.
