Learning Targets:  Review and practice order of operations, properties of real numbers, like terms, and solving simple equations.

1.  Receive textbooks, class info pamphlet, and composition notebooks.  (Copy of class info pamphlet is attached below.)

2.  Today's notes can be found here.

3.  Complete the entrance survey.

4.  Start -In-class task:  Week One Task Cards - we will finish this tomorrow.

3.  New homework worksheets:  Review of Chapter 1 - Day 1  (due Wed, Sept 7)  and Review of Chapter 1 - Day 2 (due Thurs Sept 8) - copies of both worksheets are attached below.

4.  Continue working on yesterday's in-class task:  Week One Task Cards - we will finish this Tuesday.
