About Our Student Council Program

Student Council is the student governing body of LHS. Members are
elected to represent the student population, and all are encouraged
to run. Each class has a president and up to ten elected
representatives. Student council members are instrumental in
organizing and executing school spirit and service activities, including
Homecoming and Fire on Ice. The leadership experience you will
acquire from organizing these activities can be applied to all you do.
Attendance at state and regional conferences will open your eyes to
new horizons.
