Bloodstone, Lincoln High School's literary/art journal, is published each spring. The student editors and advisors accept submissions throughout the school year. Because the writing and art will be collected until January, students interested in Bloodstone should bring their work to the advisors as early in the school year as possible. The advisors to contact are Mr. Karnitz and Ms. Reetz for prose and poetry, Ms. Rice for 3D, Fibers and Graphic Design, and Ms. Kleman for 2D and all types of photography. This publication includes many literary and art forms, including poems, short stories, two- and three-dimensional art, photography, and fibers. Bloodstone is entered into national competitions and is always extremely competitive.
