Loading Dock

  • South side of Performing Arts Center, red service door labeled “NN”
  • 12’ W x 16’ H overhead door - 60’ to stage.  Ground level loading.  No lift, no ramp available. 
  • Location and path:  Off stage left, straight path to stage.   
  • Flat utility cart and appliance dolly available.
  • Can accommodate a maximum 55’ L  x 15’ H box truck or semi trailer indoors.

  • Proscenium opening:  57’ 6” W x 20’ 6” H
  • Plaster line to back wall:  34’ 11”
  • Plaster line to last batten:  30’ 4” 
  • Width wall to wall:  95’ 11” 
  • Wing space SL & SR:  19’ 2”
  • Crossover space behind last working line: ~5ft
  • Apron (curved) - plaster line to pit edge -1’ 4” on sides to 5’ 8” at center
  • Orchestra pit cover - 57’ 6” W x 7’ 9” D.  Adjustable to house floor height (3’ below stage) or complete removal (8’ below stage) with advanced notice and additional charge.  
  • Plaster line to DS edge (including pit cover) 6’ at sides, 13’ at center
  • Stage Floor Surface:    Plywood stage with concrete wings      
  • Can we attach?    Yes, holes must be repaired.  1.5-inch penetration maximum.    
  • Traps:    5 traps - 6’ 0” x 2’ 6” each (6’ x 12’ 6” total)

Seating Capacity

  • 833 including handicapped accessible seating
  • Lower house – 419 Seats + 32 handicapped spaces
  • Upper house – 382 seats, can be closed off with divider
  • Aisles:  4 down aisles (handrails on perimeter only), 1 main cross aisle.  
  • House entry left and right, no rear entrance.

Crew

  • Available as needed and at the discretion of the PAC Director.
  • Stage hands generally consist of high school student technicians under supervision of PAC Director.
  • NOT A UNION HOUSE

Dressing Rooms and Wardrobe

  • 1 large common room (The Green Room) - 40ft x 30ft 
  • Unisex changing rooms each side with 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 6 sinks total
  • Adjacent to loading dock stage left - 20’ to stage. No steps.
  • 6 lighted make-up stations, an entire wall of full-length mirrors, and a sink.
  • 12 tables and 40 chairs - no sofas or loungers.
  • Power outlets:  yes
  • Laundry facilities on-site: no
  • Laundromats: Rainbow Coin Laundry - 1930 Wylie St and Maytag Laundry - 3551 8th St S 
  • Dry Cleaner: Tradition Cleaners 540 E Grand Ave
  • Rolling wardrobe racks: yes, please inquire as to quantity and availability. 
  • Additional classroom spaces available at additional charge  (no private restroom amenities attached to these areas).
  • Guest WiFi - Yes - credentials available upon arrival.

Stage Management

  • Production Office:  No dedicated space, Dressing Room or Control Booth are suitable.
  • Control Booth location: back of house - access by stairs in house or freight elevator from lobby.
  • Show called from: Control Booth, mid-house position, or stage left.
  • Backstage Crossover: Approximately 5’ behind last working line (cyc) or through backstage hallway.
  • Health Policy: Alcohol and tobacco prohibited on school grounds. 
  • Parking: South parking lot adjacent to PAC loading doors.
  • Video Monitor System: Yes - Closed circuit television in Green Room and surrounding classroom areas.
  • Communication System: Telex System – Wired at various locations, in addition to 4 wireless beltpacks.

  • Da-Lite 8ft freestanding tripod screen
