In compliance with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, all applicants for substitute teaching for Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools MUST have a Wisconsin certified teaching degree.

To apply, contact Tammy Holberg at 715-422-6041. Your name will be placed on a waiting list until the need arises to add more substitutes to our pool. When this occurs, you will be called for an interview, at which time you will be required to submit: A copy of your Wisconsin teaching license, academic transcripts proving your education degree, an application on the WECAN website, a tb test (WRPS pays for this), and the successful completion of a background check.
