Sandra Hett was elected to the School Board in 1999. She has served on the Business Services Committee for nine years - being chairman for five of those years. She was board president from 2005-2006 and again in 2007-2008. Currently, Sandra is chairman of the Personnel Services Committee and Vice-President of the Board. She attended Cornell College, a small liberal arts college in Mt. Vernon, Iowa and graduated with a BA in Spanish and Secondary Education. She also studied at the Universidad de Filosofía y Letras in Valencía, Spain. Being a former public school teacher, she taught in both Iowa and Wisconsin. For 16 years she was actively involved in real estate and for six of those years she was part owner of a franchised office. |
