The Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools Human Resources Department is a leader in the pursuit and maintenance of quality personnel. The department is responsible for all aspects of the hiring process and works collaboratively with the Curriculum and Instruction Department to structure and organize a successful Mentor/Mentee Program to support each new certified staff member. In addition, the department is also responsible for the development, revision and administration of all employment policies and procedures. This ensures that the District remains in compliance with local, state and federal laws that are developed to protect employee rights and provide equal opportunities for each individual.
The Department of Human Resources is responsible for the facilitation of the Employee Benefits Program throughout the school district. Any questions related to benefits that an employee may receive are funneled through the office and directed to the Employee Benefits Manager. Similarly, questions and guidance related to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or the Employee Wellness Program can also be directed the Human Resources Department.
