Goal 1. I will learn more about and apply Responsive Classroom (RC) so that my students will experience success in my classroom through a strong community bond built by daily morning meetings, guided discoveries, and increased communication with each other.
*Take Responsive Classroom Training: RC 1 taken August 2006
RC 2 taken August 2009

Goal 2. I will study and apply the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) to my lessons while concentrating on planning for the individual needs of each student in my classroom.
*Attend the WMELS teacher training. Create a checklist for standards met on each lesson plan.
Please take a look at the bottom section of this page. It shows how my lesson plans have changed after going to the WMELS training, and the second WMELS training.

| List of goals for children |
This page shows a copy of one year of my goals for my class. I have left the name area off for privacy. As you will see, some children have more goals than others. This is strictly done based on each child's individual academic, physical, and social needs. |

| October working on goals pg 1 |
This is the form that I used (in October) when working in small groups with my children. I have listed how much they knew in each catgory based off the last assessment. I have the activity we worked together on, and how that child did. (Names have been eliminated for privacy.) |

*Attend trainings that are based on planning lessons according to WMELS.

| How WMELS are met in 4K |
This document was created by a 4K teacher in our district. It lists all possible standards that are being met just by going through our daily schedule. This list does not include the standards that are added on a daily basis by the lessons we plan. |

This section is designed to show how each year my lesson plan has changed format to meet my needs of keeping track of and documenting the standards. I have used the same theme to show the continued growth since year one.
| Apples 2005: First Year teaching |
This was my first year teaching. I pretty much just copied the format that the assistant teacher told me that they had used last year. |
| Apples 2006: Second Year Teaching |
This year I decided that I wanted to put the standard being met right on my lesson plan with that activity. I included a box for this with each activity. |
| Apples 2007: Third Year of Teaching |
This year I decided that I want to keep track of which standards I am meeting. I added check off boxes right on my lesson plan so that I can quicly see which standards are being met, and which I need to teach more often. |
| Apples 2008: Fourth Year Teaching |
Now that there are new standards, I had to create new check off boxes. I also decided that I would like to be able to add more detail to my lesson plans. I turned the page to portrait instead of landscape. I also created a comparison sheet of the old standards to the new ones. |
| Apples 2009: Fifth Year Teaching |
This year I came up with a new way to add in the standards. I not only wanted to know which standards were being used the most, but I also wanted to keep track of how many times those specific standards were being used. This year I made it possible to tally the standards being used. |
