Spirit of Excellence Award
|
|
Lincoln High School was again awarded this year’s Region Five “Spirit of Excellence” Award by the Wisconsin Association of Student Councils (WASC).
LHS also won this award in 2007. That year, LHS was the second highest rated school behind Waunakee High School. This year, LHS was also second ranked, this year behind Verona High School.
This award is based on school demonstrated sportsmanship at WIAA games, volunteerism in the community and student leadership based programs. We are extremely proud of our students and staff for achieving this honor.

Mr. Mancuso states, "I am specifically proud of our Student Council under the direction of Brigitte Musallam. The students and Ms. Musallam have done amazing things in developing a student based leadership model for our school."
Also, a particular thanks and note of appreciation goes to Sue Zirnhelt, the coordinator of the LHS Student Volunteer program. Sue has kept alive the strong program of student volunteerism started years ago at LHS. She is outstanding at getting the students involved in many worthwhile activities.
Thanks to everyone involved for a job well done!
